They currently produce over 100 products, from awarding-winning styling and care products to cutting-edge heat styling tools and professional hair colour and is available in over 80 countries worldwide.

Paul Mitchell is always looking out for our furry friends. In 1987, we became the first professional beauty company to announce that we don’t conduct or endorse animal testing. We fund the planting of enough trees to offset all carbon emissions produced by the manufacture and distribution of the Tea Tree brand…and then some.

2001… In January, ghd is born. Celebrities fall in love with ghd. Cult following begins.

2003… Annual turnover reaches £12 million. First TV advert airs. ghd sponsors “The Salon”.

2005… Sunday Times Fast Track “Fastest Growing Company”. ghd takes London, Durban and New York fashion weeks by storm. ghd is named “Best Styling Tool” by the Sunday Times Style awards.

2010… Awarded CoolBrand status for 2010/11. ghd launches its sleekest ever styler – the ghd Gold Classic styler. Turnover £54 million.
